Find the seat - Redcycle

Welcome to REDcycle, and thanks for taking the time to find out more about us!

Firstly, a little about the seat! Made by one of our manufacturing partners, Replas, this Buddy Bench is durable and constructed from sustainable material (including soft plastics!).  These are available in a range of styles and colours and you can add plaques, routed words, or images to create a distinctive bench that reflects the values of your organisation.

We're on the move!

This year we’ll be travelling to different trade shows and conferences around the country.  See below for the schedule of upcoming events:

4-6 July 2022

LGAQ Waste Forum 2022
Royal International Convention Centre – Brisbane

Where are we this week?

We are proud to be attending the Waste 22 Coffs Conference, Australia’s leading waste management conference.

Did you know that in Coffs Harbour there have been a few installations of products made using recycled soft plastics?  This includes both seats and decking by Replas.

More information about each installation can be found here:

More about REDcycle

RED Group is a Melbourne-based consulting and recycling organisation who has developed and implemented the REDcycle Program; a recovery initiative for post-consumer soft plastic.

We have teamed up with Coles, Woolworths and some of Australia’s most-loved brands to make it easy for you to keep your plastic bags and soft plastic packaging out of landfill. We recover approximately 1.5 billion pieces of post-consumer soft plastics annually.

The REDcycle Program is true product stewardship model where manufacturers, retailers and consumers are sharing responsibility in creating a sustainable future. See our partners page to see which of Australia’s most-loved brands are on board to reduce the amount of plastic packaging going to landfill.

REDcycle recently became a part of iQ Renew to expand recovery and create new markets for soft plastics. The partnership will accelerate the development of a purpose-built facility called SPEC – soft plastic engineered commodity – which will be dedicated to creating streams of locally sourced, quality feedstock available for use in Australian based technologies such as mechanical and emerging advanced recycling.

All about iQ Renew
