Thanks for your interest in the REDcycle Program. Our program is dedicated to the recovery and recycling of post-consumer flexible plastics such as single-use plastic bags and soft plastic packaging. Our method of recovering these plastics is via a network of supermarket drop off bins.
While we often receive requests for additional REDcycle drop off points in schools, businesses and other cities where we’re not yet operating, we must have a phased approach to growth that ensures the program can continue to thrive.
With our recent expansion into Central West Victoria, NSW’s Central Coast and New Zealand, we have met our targets for new REDcycle locations for 2016. Unfortunately, we’re unable to add any additional drop off points to our network this year, as much as we would like to!
While we’re busy working on our plans for additional collection points for next 2017, we won’t be in a position to make any commitments until we’re confident that all our recent areas of expansion are operating smoothly.
The REDcycle team want to focus on what we do best–recovering household soft plastics and diverting them from landfill. This means we can’t offer recycling to businesses at this stage.
We encourage you to continue to utilise the 600+ drop off points already in Coles and Woolworths supermarkets around Australia.
Thank you for your continued support of the REDcycle Program. We can’t do it without you!
